The length of the land = the length of the waterfront + the length of dry land

The length of the land = L
The length of the waterfront = 0.65L
The length of the dry land = 70 feet

L = 0.65L + 70
L - 0.65L = 70
0.35L = 70
L = 70 ÷ 0.35
L = 200 feet
