Answer: 12.5

Step-by-step explanation:

To find an average add up all of the values and divide by how many there are so to do this we add 12+13 to get 25 and there are 2 values so we divide by 2 to get 12.5

Use the substitution method to solve the system of equations. choose the correct ordered pair. 2x - y = 103x - 2y = 8
crimeas [40]
2x-y=10\Rightarrow 2x-10=y \\
\Longrightarrow 3x-2y=8\Rightarrow 3x-2(2x-10)=8 \\
3x-4x+20=8 \\ -x=8-20=-12 \\ x=12 \\ \\ y=2(12)-10=24-10 \\ y=14 \\ \\ (x,y)=(12,14)

Travka [436]

Answer:

See the step-by-step

Step-by-step explanation:

How do you factor trinomials? -

You factor trinomials by using methods like FOIL multiplication and simple factoring patterns.

How can we check the binomial factors to verify that they are truly factors?

We can multiply the binomial factors out to see that they are truly factors.

Create an example of a trinomial and factor it to its binomial factors.

x^{2}+5x+6 factors into

(x+2)(x+3).

Sorry for the trashy answer.

What is the equation in point-slope form of a line that passes through the points (7, −8) and (−4, 6) ?
Aleks04 [339]
First you differentiate to find the gradient

dy/dx = (6 - - 8) / (-4 - 7)
          = 14 / -11
          = - 14/11

Then you use this formula
y - y1 = m (x - x1)

y1 being the y coordinate
x1 being the x coordinate
m being the gradient (or slope)

y - 6 = -14/11 (x - - 4)
y - 6 = -14/11x - 56/11
y = -14/11x + 10/11
