Base length of the larger triangle = 39 + 39 = 78
Base length of the smaller triangle = 39

\dfrac{78}{39} = \dfrac{x}{46}

39x = 78 \times 46

39x = 3588

x = 92

Answer: x = 92 (Answer A)

In a group of 60 workers they get paid an average of 80$ a day per person.
hichkok12 [17]

Answer:

48 workers earn $75 a day.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x people earn 75 a day then 60-x earn 100 dollars a day.

Average is $80 a day so total paid out to the 60 workers

= 60*80 = $4800.

So 75x + 100(60-x) = 4800

75x + 6000 - 100x = 4800

6000 - 4800 = 100x - 75x

1200 = 25x

x = 48.

Determine which of the following passages are arguments. For those that are, identify the conclusion. For those that are not, de
Alexeev081 [22]

Answer:

Non Arguement passage.

Step-by-step explanation:

The passage given is a non arguement passage , the passage is more of a report especially the introductory part where the author said ''Since the 1950s a malady called whirling disease has invaded U.S. fishing streams, frequently attacking rainbow trout.'' this highlighted phrase is a report gathered or investigated by the author which was gotten as a result of his own personal findings or from history. For an argument passage, the introductory part will have portrayed what the author implied, there will be an indication of the authors stance or favoured opinion which of course will be backed by evidence from his or her findings. as such, there is nothing of such which may serve as a precursor to indicate or informed us if the passage is that of an arguement. Again, the passage is a report and not an argument. as nothing can be inferred from the paragraph to point to us if it is an argument passage.

However, there is a conclusion in the passage and conclusions has arrived by the author must have been from a detailed findings and research, if possible an experimental study before a conclusion can be reached as the last line of the paragraph says ''A parasite deforms young fish, which often chase their tails before dying, hence the name.'' The conclusion is that parasite are known to cause deformation in young fish.

What’s the volume of
1.)
V=txrxrxh
= 3.14 X 3 X 3 X 4
5 cm
12 cm
KonstantinChe [14]

Answer:

A) (3 cm x 4 cm ÷ 2) x 3 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

The volume is the product of the area of the triangular bases and the distance between them.

Each right triangular base has a width of 3 cm and a height of 4 cm. Its area will be given by ...

A = (1/2)bh

A = (1/2)(3 cm)(4 cm) = (3 cm × 4 cm) ÷ 2

__

The distance between the triangular bases is marked at the left side of the diagram as 3 cm. So, the volume is ...

V = Bh

V = (3 cm × 4 cm ÷ 2) × 3 cm . . . . . matches choice A

There aren't any more steps. The answer starts by saying how the volume is computed. Then it shows how to find the numbers that go into that computation. Finally, it puts all that together in the form that is required to match an answer choice.

It might also be useful for you to draw the net to scale on a piece of paper, cut it out, and fold it along the lines to actually make a triangular prism. A little hands-on is always helpful in math. It only takes 5 or 10 minutes and can give you great insight into both prisms and nets.
