Martin Luther King was undoubtedly one of the greatest heroes in the United States. A brave man, eloquent inspirer, whose exciting speeches make a strong impact to this day. The legacy he left to society was the culture of peace and civil rights.  In the meantime, we can not ignore King's habit of betraying his wife, which diminished his image as a religious leader, but did not diminish his legacy in the struggle for civil rights.

Perhaps King's betrayals do not diminish his legacy, because he was a man, and society often treats men's betrayal as natural, accepting, and insignificant in comparison to their actions.
