To find the percentage of how many reservations of of Friday or Saturday compared to the total reservation , we just need sum all the reservations of the week ,
15 + 5 + 10 + 25 + 40 + 30 + 35 = 160
160 = 100%
Now we just need to divide the amount of reservations on Friday or Saturday by 160

Friday : 40 ÷ 160 = 1/4 = 0.25
Which is 25%

Saturday: 30÷ 160 = 0.1875
Which is 18.75%

Awnser : Friday compose 25% of all reservations and Saturday 18.75%

Determine if the rates $168 rasied for washing 24 cars and $280 rasied for washing 40 cars are equivalent
Mariana [72]

We are given : $168 raised for washing 24 cars and $280 raised for washing 40 cars.

We know the rate formula.

Rate = Total amount ÷ Total numbers.

Let us find value of each rate for  the given problem.

Rate 1: Total amount ÷ Total numbers = $168 ÷ 24 = $7.

Rate 2: Total amount ÷ Total numbers = $280 ÷ 40 = $7.

We can clearly see that Rate 1 is equal to Rate 2, that is $7.

So, we can say rates are equivalent.

What is the answer to this question
Sonja [21]
First we need to understand that the sum of adjacent angles on a straight line is 180°,meaning that when all the angles are added up the answer would be 180°

Here's how we can set up the equation:

2x+100°=180°
2x=80°
x=40°

Thus the answer is 40°

The area of a rectangular piano is 5 5/8 square yards, it's length is 1 1/2 yards. what's the patios width in yards.
krek1111 [17]

Answer:

3 3/4 yards

Step-by-step explanation:

The area of a rectangle can be found by multiplying length * width. Since we have the area of the patio and the length, all we need to do to find the width is divide 5 5/8 (area) / 1 1/2 (length) =3 3/4 yards (width).

To check if this is correct, we can solve 1 1/2 * 3 3/4 = 5 5/8 yards.

Hope this helps!
