Upward Communication is the flow of information from the lower level in the hierarchy of an organization to the top most level.
This can be taken as the information flow from the worker level to the supervisor and then to the top most management.
This makes it easy for the organization to be aware about the requirements at the lower level and any changes that occur and thus in this way the ensures the participation of the employees at the lower level in the process of decision making.
