Mitosis is a process where a single cell divides into 2 “daughter” cells which are identical. The 5 phases of mitosis are- Interphase: the dna cell is copied Prophase: chromosomes pair up together Metaphase: chromosomes line up end to end Anaphase: sister chromatids are pulls apart & separated to different ends Telophase: chromosomes got her together in which a membrane forms around each set to creat 2 new nuclei.
The process in cell division by the nucleus divides, typically consisting of four stages, prophase, metaphase, anaphase, and telophase, and normally resulting in two new nuclei, each of which contains a complete copy of the parental chromosomes
