nd now they have 21 plants left.
Asha wrote the equation 45 – p = 21 to find the number of plants they sold. Jamal wrote the equation 21 + p = 45 to find the number of plants sold.
Whose equation will find the number of plants sold?

Asha : 45 - p = 21......this is correct

Jamal : 21 + p = 45....this is also correct

both equations will find the correct solution <==

45 - p = 21                    21 + p = 45
-p = 21 - 45                   p = 45 - 21
-p = - 24                        p = 24
p = 24

10th grade volume of prisms
fredd [130]
The formula for volume of prism: \frac{1}{2} * <span>length * width * height.
0.5 * 4 * 6 = </span>12

To work out length divide area by the triangle size:
120 / 12 = 10,
So the answer is 10mm.

Hope this helps.

I need help how to do Arrays and an Expanded Algorithm
____ [38]
Array:
1
1this is the Y axis
1
1
111111111111 this is the X axis
so there's a y axis and x axis.
You need to count how many dots AKA 1's are
on the x axis and y axis and multiply them.so in
this case it would be 5 times 12 so the answer would be 60.

When is it necessary to apply the Distributive Property?
Nataly [62]
It is necessary when you are getting into multiplying from the outside of parenthesis and multiplying variables inside of parenthesis.
ex: 5(3 + 3x)
5 * 3 = 15
5 * 3x = 15x
so final set up would be 15 + 15x

Answer: sqrt(2)/2  which is choice D

======================================================

Explanation

(3pi/4) radians converts to 135 degrees after multiplying by the conversion factor (180/pi).

The angle 135 degrees is in quadrant 2. We subtract the angle 135 from 180 to find the reference angle

180-135 = 45

Then you can use a 45-45-90 triangle to determine that the ratio of opposite over hypotenuse is sqrt(2)/2

sine is positive in quadrant 2

------------

Alternatively, you can use a unit circle. Refer to the diagram below. In red, I've circled the angle 3pi/4 radians. The terminal point for this angle has a y coordinate of sqrt(2)/2

Recall that y = sin(theta).
