(4,4)(-6,4)...notice how ur y coordinates on both of ur points is the same...that means u have a horizontal line with a slope of 0....the equation would be
y = 4.....but in point slope form...not 100% sure

y - y1 = m(x - x1)
slope(m) = 0
using (4,4)...x1 = 4 and y1 = 4
now sub
y - 4 = 0(x - 4) <==

y - y1 = m(x - x1)
slope(m) = 0
using (-6,4)...x1 = -6 and y1 = 4
sub
y - 4 = 0(x - (-6) =
y - 4 = 0(x + 6) <==

Christine has a rectangular poster. The poster is 1.5 meters long and 1.2 meters wide. What is the area of the poster in square
Setler79 [48]
Answer: 180cm^2

Explanation: First, multiply 1.5 by 1.2 to get the area of the rectangle in METERS, which is 1.8. Since the question is asking for the area in CENTIMETERS, multiply 1.8 by 100 (because 1 meter=100 centimeters) to get 180cm^2.

Hope that helped :)

A grant writer had a taxable income of $37,450 last year. If he paid 10% of his income between $0 and $8350, 15% of his income b
Korvikt [17]
 10% of 8350=$835.

15% of 25600(8350 from 33950) =25,600 15% of 25600= 3840.
25% of 3500. (32450 minus 33950= 3500 25% of 3500 =875.

Add the three and you get $5550. Of course you could have eliminated step two and three by anticipating a tax that far exceeded the other choices which were way to low to even consider.
Work this out for yourself. It is simple and fun when you get the hang of it.

Hope This Helped! :3
