Mathematics

4 0

First you multiply 3 times x and 3 times 2

4(3(x + 2) -1) =50

and get

4( 3x +6 -1) =50

then you add 6 plus -1

4 ( 3x +5) = 50

then multiply 4 times 3x and 4 times 5

12x +20 = 50 and subtract 20 from both sides

       -20    -20

and you will get

12x = 30

divided both sides by 12

12x/12 = 30/12

then you find the ones that are the same amount in decimals but are smaller

and that's your answer: x= 5/2

hope you get it!!!

In the figure shown, MR = 45 units, and RQ = 15 units. What is the length of PR?
I am Lyosha [343]
I’m not entirely sure as why you would have to use RQ, but you could use the equation:

tan30=(PR)/45

Solving for PR, you can put 45tan30 into the calculator to get approximately 21.981 units.

Colton has math and reading homework tonight. Colton can solve each math problem in 3 minutes and he can read each page in 1.5 m
levacccp [35]

Answer:

Colton solved 9 math problems and read 18 pages.

Step-by-step explanation:

9*2=18

9 problems * 3 minutes per problem= 27 minutes

18 pages * 1.5 minutes per page= 27 minutes

27 + 27=54

The best way to solve is by trial and error and just testing out different numbers to see if they will work.
