The element that is necessary to complete the graphic organizer is

Compound-Complex sentence.

A Compound-complex sentence involves both the complex and compound sentence with two independent and one dependent clause.

Further Explanation:

Sentences are an integral part of any writing. It is important for imparting meaning and reflects if a writer is good. Sentences are constructed in many ways. They can be simple, complex, compound, or complex compound sentences. A sentence usually contains clauses in them. The clauses which are used in a sentence can be completely independent in nature thus having a meaning standing alone, as in a simple sentence. For example, the cat is sleeping. The sentence has a subject and a verb and makes a simple sentence. A compound sentence has two clauses that are independent of each other. For example, the cat was sleeping, but the dog is not. Both are independent of each other and are joined by the coordinating conjunction ‘but’ to make it complete. A complex sentence is where there is a clause that is dependent on the independent clause. The dependent sentence can be at the beginning or at the end of a sentence. For example, when I go to the office, I will start working on the project. Here, the dependent clause is at the beginning of the sentence and is indicated by the comma. A compound-complex sentence is the most difficult sentence of them all. In it, there are two independent clauses and one dependent clause. For example, the cat slept off when I started petting it, but the dog did not. The dependent clause is in the middle of the sentence preceded and followed by two independent clauses. Thus, a complex+compound sentence together makes a complex-compound sentence.

Scientific discoveries have made life easier but insecure justify the statement
aliina [53]

Scientific discoveries allow several problems that threatened and even hindered our lives to be solved. This can be seen by the development of disease treatment, better forms of mobility, better forms of communication, greater access to entertainment, among other technologies that we can say that make our lives easy, increase our quality of life and allow maintenance of our life is more efficient.

However, scientific advancement promotes the strong exploitation of natural resources, which causes degradation of those resources that are essential for our existence. With degeneration increasingly efficient, we do not know what our lives will be like in the future, but we know it will be insecure because we cannot fight against the force of environmental imbalance.

The king cobra instantly turned its head toward me and flared its hood. Was it about to strike? The interesting thing about the
Finger [1]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Although there are no options attached we can say the following.

This passage is a change in pacing because after the text says "The king cobra instantly turned its head toward me and flared its hood. Was it about to strike?" it suddenly change the continuity of the action and refers to some characteristics of the cobra.

It could have been "foreshadowing" if the text would have continued the original narrative of the preparation for the attack, until describing the attack or not.

However, the text changed in pacing when it wrote: "The interesting thing about the king cobra is that it is the smartest snake on earth. It can see 330 feet, and its venom contains powerful neurotoxins. This new information about the cobra's characteristics changed the narrative.
