Goal Setting Let's assume for a few moments that you are not what we would call a "healthy" eater. You don't think about how the

food you eat can affect you and your health. One of your worst habits is not eating breakfast at all. Well, it's about time to change that "bad" habit. Your new goal for the summer is to eat a healthy breakfast every morning before you leave the house. • Write an action plan for achieving this goal. Be sure to include specific steps you will take, when and how often the steps are to be done, and how you will measure success. List two family members or friends who can be part of your support system. Explain why you chose each person and what role each person will play. • Give one idea for how you can reward yourself along the way.

Which type of exercise contributes the most to building strong bones
pav-90 [236]

The best exercise for your bones is the weight-bearing kind, which forces you to work against gravity. Some examples of weight-bearing exercises include weight training, walking, hiking, jogging, climbing stairs, tennis, and dancing. Examples of exercises that are not weight-bearing include swimming and bicycling. Although these activities help build and maintain strong muscles and have excellent cardiovascular benefits, they are not the best way to exercise your bones. Hope this helps!
