Why does warm and moist air mass form over the ocean near the equator
bulgar [2K]
They sun does not evenly heat the Earth. That is why places in the equator are hotter than other regions. Since the sun heats the equator more intensely than the rest of the Earth when it is over oceans it causes it to evaporate more quickly than other regions over oceans, resulting in lots of water vapor creating moist air masses.
