Celsius = (Fahrenheit -32) * (5/9)
Celsius = (90 -32) * (5/9)
Celsius = (58) * (5/9)
Celsius = 32.22 degrees

Measure (7x+1) (2x+1)
Gemiola [76]

Smaller angle = 41°

Larger angle = 139°

Step-by-step explanation:

(7x - 1) + (2x + 1) = 180

7x + 2x - 1 + 1 = 180

9x = 180

x = 20

  • The measure of the smaller angle is

2x + 1

= 2(20) + 1

= 40 + 1

<u>= 41°</u>

  • The measure of the larger angle is

7x - 1

= 7(20) - 1

= 140 - 1

<u>= 139°</u>

5 rational and irrational numbers in decimal form
alexira [117]

Answer:

A rational number is a number that can be expressed as a fraction (ratio). This includes whole numbers, square roots that can be solved evenly, negatives, decimals, and repeating decimals that can be solved with a fraction.

  1. \frac{1}{2}   ↔  .5
  2. 5  ↔ 5.0
  3. \sqrt{4} ↔ 2.0
  4. -13  ↔  -13.0
  5. 0.38462... (\frac{5}{13})

An irrational number is a number that is NOT rational. It's the complete opposite!

  1. π  ↔  3.14159
  2. .13133133...
  3. \frac{\sqrt{3} }{2}   ↔  0.86603...
  4. -\sqrt{5}  ↔  -2.23607...
  5. \sqrt{5}   ↔   2.23607...

Hope this helps!!!

HELP PLEASE!!! Which of the following is not a true statement about solving two-step equations?
tensa zangetsu [6.8K]
C= two step equations require all number to be whole number in order to solve.

Here is an example that disproves that:
 .5x + 8= 18
  <u>      -8     -8</u>
<u>.5</u>x = <u>10
</u>.5       .5

x = 20  (.5 is certainly not a whole number but I solved it anyway)
