Because the Tall gene in plants in dominant, there are two possible genotype combinations that will produce a tall plant: Homozygous is (TT) Heterozygous is (Tt).

Test cross is when you cross (aka. "mate" in simple language) the particular pea plant (which you would like to find the genotype of) with a pea plant which is homozygous recessive.

Let's say allele T codes for the protein which synthesizes the growth hormone which makes the pea plant tall. Allele T is dominant to allele t, which does not code for extra growth hormones when in homologous recessive form (tt) as allele T does.

Tall pea plants may have any of the 2 genotypes as follows: TT, Tt.

The test cross of TT:
TT × tt will give all Tt offspring, which satisfies the criteria in the question, where all of the offspring via the test cross are tall.

The test cross of Tt:
Tt × tt will give Tt, tt, a phenotypic ratio of 1 Tall : 1 Short.

Thus, the genotype of the original tall pea plant is TT.

Hope this helps! :)

The Process in which pesticides are stored in body tissues is known as Bio-Accumulation.
When pesticides get into our body through eating food which is not go through the process of metabolism or which is not excreted, that is stored in fatty tissues of the body and as time passes we may build up high concentration of pesticides in our body. Pesticides are the chemical compounds used for killing pests, bacteria etc.

Answer:

Whether matter exists as a solid, liquid or gas is determined by the arrangement of its particles and the strength of attraction between the particles. The three states can be easily distinguished because of their physical properties.

A physical property is a characteristic of matter which can be observed without any chemical change to the matter (shape, volume, colour, smell etc.). A chemical change is one in which new substance are formed.

Explanation:

Solids have a fixed volume and shape. They also vibrate in a fixed position. Ice

Liquids have do not have a fixed shape but a definite volume. They take the shape of their container. They are able to move past each other by allowing the liquid to flow. Water

Gases do not have a fixed shape or volume. Particles take up the space of the container they are in. Particles move freely and rapidly. Water vapour
