President Obama signed an ordr to close the Guantanamo prison due to alleged abuses and use of torture.

The Guantanamo Bay detention camp is a United States military prison located in Cuba. It was established during President George W. Bush's administration in 2002. President Obama promised to close it, but was met with a lot of opposition. Although the number of prisoners was reduced, the prison remains open. In fact, President trump signed an order to keep the prison open indefinitely.
