Answer:

Contraction of the bladder

Explanation:

The tissue indicated by arrow represents "transitional epithelium" of urinary bladder. The transitional epithelium is the epithelial tissue that consists of cells with ability to change their shape. The cells of transitional epithelium of urinary bladder get stretched when the bladder is distended with urine. They resume the normal shape once the urine is excreted out of the body. So, the transitional epithelium helps the urinary bladder to expand and stretch.

Epithelial cells are mainly used for protection; in the urinary tract, these tissue cells are used to protect the bladder from toxic urine. The tissue can also expand to hold larger quantities of urine.

how do you think plant cells differ from animal cells? (Hint: what can plants do that animals cannot?
zvonat [6]
A difference between plant cells and animal cells is that most animal cells are round whereas most plant cells are rectangular.Plant cells have a rigid cell wall that surrounds the cell membrane. Animal cells do not have a cell wall. When looking under a microscope, the cell wall is an easy way to distinguish plant cells.

Difference Between Plant And Animal Cells 1 Chloroplast. Like animal cells plant cells have mitochondria. 2 Cell Wall. Animal cells do not contain a cell wall while plant cells and fungi cells do. 3 Vacuole. Vacuoles are very large membrane-bound sacs within plant cells.
