San Francisco is very close to a fault, or a place where 2 tectonic plates meet and push against each other. When these plates shift it causes seismic activity, or strong waves of force. These waves of force are so strong that they move and shake the earth, these are called tremors, and they turn are what you feel during an earthquake. When more shakes are felt, the energy released is called an aftershock. What caused the San Francisco earthquake was the shifting of tectonic plates. I hope I helped you learn! brainliest would be much appreciated because I am trying to rank up!!

How was the human-focused worldview of the Italian Renaissance expressed in its art?
Rus_ich [418]

Answer:

First of all, the human body was painted or sculpted much more realistically than ever before. Medieval art, the type of art that preceded the Italian Renaissance, depicted the human body in simplified shapes, and lacked the concept of perspective.

Secondly, the human body and mind became the focus of art (perhaps except for architecture for obvious reasons). Some of the most famous works of art of the era depict people, for example, the paintings of the sixtine chapel by michelangelo, or the works of Da Vinci.
