Please answer quickly, (1 question, 30 pts) thanks!
kaheart [24]

Step-by-step explanation:

once the level of medicine reaches a value, where 30% are 23mL (so, whatever is lost, is immediately replaced again), that is then the long run value for the amount of the drug in the patient's body.

so,

30% = 23 mL

1% = 30%/30 = 23/30 = 0.766666666...

100% = 1%×100 = 0.766666666... × 100 = 76.666666...

so, once the level reaches 76.666666... mL in the body, it will remain constant, as the daily filtered out 30% are 23 mL, and the daily add-on is also 23 mL.

so, the answer is

76.667 mL

a. Determine whether the Mean Value Theorem applies to the function f (x )equals ln 15 xf(x)=ln15x on the given interval [1 comm
ivolga24 [154]

Answer:

(a)

The function f is continuous at [1,e] and differentiable at (1,e), therefore

the mean value theorem applies to the function.

(b)

c = e-1 \\ = 1.71828

Step-by-step explanation:

(a)

The function f is continuous at [1,e] and differentiable at (1,e), therefore

the mean value theorem applies to the function.

(b)

You are looking for a point c   such that

\frac{1}{c} = \frac{\ln(15e)-\ln(15*1)}{e-1} = \frac{\ln(15e/15)}{e-1} = \frac{\ln(e)}{e-1} = \frac{1}{e-1}

You have to solve for c  and get that

c = e-1 \\ = 1.71828

14. The answer is hundred-thousandths. The 2 is in the tenths place, the 0 is in the hundredths place, and then 5 is in the hundred thousandths place, etc etc.

15. The quarter and the penny. Like I said above, the hundredth’s place is the second number after the decimal.

Hope this helps xx
