Hello There!!!

if i am doing this correctly

 2 is your y intercept, this is where the line hits the y line and -6 is your slope

so you would go down 6 because of the negative and then over to the right one

the reason being you go over one is because under the -6 their is a 1 but it isn't put their, and doesn't have to be.

Hope This Helps!!

!!!!!!!( help me solve this problem)!!!!!!!
ruslelena [56]
Hi Bre,

Since lines a and b are parallel, we know that in the image:
- ∡1 ⇔ ∡5
- ∡2 ⇔ ∡6
-       ...
- ∡4 ⇔ ∡8

We're given the angle of ∡7, which is 114°.  We can see that ∡7 + ∡8 will equal to 180° (since line b is a straight line) and since ∡8 ⇔ ∡4, we can deduct that ∡7 + ∡4 = 180°.

From here, it's just imputing the information and solving.
⇒ 114° + ∡4 = 180°
⇒ ∡4 = 180° - 114°
⇒ ∡4 = 66°

-Hope this helps!

Use the multiplier method to decrease £27 by 8%. You must show your working.
Nitella [24]

Answer:

decrease by 2.16

Step-by-step explanation:

Convert the problem to an equation using the percentage formula: P% * X = Y.

P is 10%, X is 150, so the equation is 10% * 150 = Y.

Convert 10% to a decimal by removing the percent sign and dividing by 100: 10/100 = 0.10.

The savings account offering which of these APRs and compounding periods
Ann [662]

Answer:

The answer is "Option C"

Step-by-step explanation:

The using formula= (1+\frac{r}{n})^n -1

→r = rate

→ n = compounded value

In choice a:

When compounded is monthly 4.0784\%

n = 12

\to (1+ \frac{0.040784}{12})^{12} = 1.0403-1 = 0.0403

In choice b:

When compounded is quarterly4.0792\%

n = 3\\\\\to (1+ \frac{0.040792}{12} )^{3} = 1.0102-1 = .0102

In choice c:

Whenn compounded is daily 4.0730 \%

n = 365\\\\\to (1+ \frac{0.040730}{12})^{365}  = 3.328-1 = 2.328

In choice d:

When compounded is semiannually4.0798\%

n = 2\\\\\to (1+ \frac{0.040798}{12})^{2} = 1.0066-1 = 0.0066
