Clay and Wax are pliable, soft enough to be easily modeled into almost any form.
bonufazy [111]

These media or materials and characteristics are referred to as Modelling.

Modelling is an art in sculpture which involves an addictive  process where  materials are used to  build up an object to form by hand or with tools.

Materials used include

  • Clay
  • Wax
  • Plastic

As opposed to modelling is Carving which occurs from a reductive process of materials to form an object.

Maru [420]

Answer:

d. tortillians

Explanation:

Artists very often use chamois leather widely known as 'shammy' in charcoal and pencil drawing, as blending tool which can soften pencil tones. Shammy is a smaller piece of lamb skin treated by oils.

The gum is not only a means of wiping out a mistake from a drawing, but also a way to draw white lines from surfaces that are already saturated with graphite or carbon, in other words - to work in the negative and blend pencil or charcoal tone.

Because it is a soft and sticky rubber, it will be easy for you to mold exactly the rubber you need to remove coal dust or graphite from paper. It won't stain on the drawing, nor is it too strong to tear the paper due to frequent corrections, so it's great for beginners and students.

Ideas to create symbols without having to use numbers, drawings of objects, letters etc.
soldier1979 [14.2K]

Answer:

Slightly uncertain of what you are asking, but you could use hand signals. You could also use sound recordings as well. Try to focus on physical senses, maybe you could even utilize food if your looking for odd ways to communicate symbols. Sign language and morse code might also be interesting to think about. I'm not sure what this is for, but I hope it helps!
