Answer:

X is negative heterotropic modulator

Explanation:

In allosteric regulations, modulators are molecules that causes a change in the conformation of an enzyme, hence, resulting a change in enzyme activity. It can lead to a decrease or an increase of the enzyme.  When a molecule decreases the enzyme activity it called a negative modulator, when it increases or activates the enzyme activity, it is called a positive modulator.

A positive or negative modulator can either be homotrophic (substrate acts as modulator) or heterotropic (another ligand acts as modulator).

In the example above, X is negative heterotropic modulator, because the modulator is different from the substrate and it also decreases the enzyme activity.

Suppose that the string of A nucleotides following the inverted repeat in a rho-independent terminator was deleted but that the
eimsori [14]

Answer: is seen below

Explanation:

Termination will not take place if the strings of A nucleotides following an inverted repeat of rho- independent termination ( which forms an hairpin structure)were deleted. Although, RNA polymerase may pause briefly at the hairpin, the presence of A- U base pairs is needed to destabilize the DNA - RNA interaction and to end transcription. If the string A nucleotides is not present, then transcription of RNA polymerase will continue.

Lesechka [4]

Answer:

Corpus callosum

Explanation:

Corpus callosum is the red part of the brain that has a “C” shape. The corpus callosum, which is made up of over 200 million of neural fibers, links both hemispheres of the brain (the left and right brain) together, which allows for coordination and complex communication between both in order for the brain to function properly.

This structure usually starts forming about 12 weeks after conception of a child, and continues to develop up to about 12 years of age of the child.

The main function of the corpus callosum is the ensuring of uninterrupted flow of information, and the integration of complex information and tasks such as motor, sensory and cognitive functions between both hemispheres of the brain.
