The process that transports
solutes, including many drugs, into the tubular fluid is called tubular
secretion. Under this process, there is transfer of materials from peritubular
capillaries to the renal tubular lumen and the secretion is caused mainly by
active transport and passive diffusion.
The answer is macrophages. They either actively invade these leukocytes or are phagocytosed, divide in the cells and cause lysis. The promastigotes that invade these leucocytes are transformed into amastigotes in the macrophages. These amastigotes continue attacking other healthy macrophages while others migrate to the mid gut.
The rabbit population may decline if the plant life starts to die or there’s an increase in the fox or wolf population.
