Is it hydrophobic or hydrophilic? Place the substance in water and see what happens... Does it shed all of the water immediately, or does it absorb the water...?
You can also place the substance on some paper. If it makes a grease spot (if you've ever put Cheez-its or Goldfish on your homework paper, you know what I'm talking about) then you know its a lipid. If it does not make a grease spot, you know it is NOT a lipid, so it will be a carb.
If this helped, please make it the brainliest answer! (The button's at the bottom of my answer) :)
The surface layer of the water freezes solid creating a barrier that insulates the ice below so that it keeps a steady temperature usually a few degrees above freezing (32 degrees).
It receives blood from the whole body. Blood from the lungs enters the heart through the pulmonary vein into the left atrium. ... - Has ventricles that has thicker walls thus more muscular than auricles generating higher pressure to pump blood over long distances.
