Honeybees are flying, social insect that are usually kept commercially for the production of honey, beeswax, and pollination of crops. Honey bees live in colonies, and their colonies is made up of thousands of female worker bees, hundreds of male drones, and a single queen. Honey bee belongs to the Kingdom; Animalia, Phylum; Arthropoda, Class; Insecta, Order; Hymenoptera, Family; Apidae, Genus; Apis, Specie; about 7 species are known but Apis mellifera (western honeybee) is the most popular.
