Answer:

r = 1.59inch

the radius of the cylinder is

1.59inch

Step by step Explanation

lateral surface of a cylinder can be calculated using the below formula

Surface Area= 2 πr h

We were given area as 400inch^2 and height as 40inch then substitute we have

400 = 2 ×π × r ×40

400= 2×22/7×40

Then do the calculation, where, π

=22/7

400 = r × 251.2

Make r subject of formula we have

r = 400 / 251.2

r = 1.59inch

Therefore, the radius of the cylinder is

1.59inch

Plz this is due today help me explain the answer
Natali [406]

Answer:

177.3 feet

This is a classic find the vertex of a parabola question.

if this was a calculus class the solution would be to take the derivative and set it equal to zero... -32t+ 105 = 0

BUT i assume that you are not in a calculus class..

so we try plan "B" the  highest (or lowest) point of parabola is it's vertex

the vertex formula is [-b/2a,f(-b/2a)]

in your problem a = -16, b=105, c= 5

so the "X" (TIME) is located at -(105)/(2*-16) = 3.28

plug in 3.28 into -16(3.28)^2 + 105(3.28) + 5 = 177.27

and you will get

Select the best answer for the question 36-0.0058=
Yuri [45]
Considering this is a reasonably solvable math problem, I will subtract 0.0058 from 36 and an answer choice should match.
36.0000 - 0.0058 = 35.9942

Your answer is 35.9942.

I hope this helps!
