You do parenthesis first following the rules of PEMDAS. so 2-1=1. so now you solve 4^2 which is 16. then you go over to 10 divided by 5 which is 2. which simplifies the equation down to 16+1x2. so you do 1x2 which is 2 then add 16. your final answer is 18 (:

The 30 members of a choir are trying to raise at least $1,500 to cover travel costs to a singing camp. They have already raised
Darya [45]

Answer:

B

Step-by-step explanation:

30 is the amount of members and each have to raise at least the goal but they have already raised $600. For them to reach this goal the amount they get does not have to be more than the goal since it's at least and they need to raise the goal. So they need to raise at least $1500 which leads us to answer B 30x+600>=1500 (in word terms thirty x plus six hundred is greater than or equal to fifteen hundred). Hope this helps and I got threw this a little while back sucks at first but you'll get it with time easier.

what is the rate of discount on a DVD player having a marked price of $240 but sold for $216 pleas show work
WINSTONCH [101]

Answer:

90%

Step-by-step explanation:

240 is the orginal price so

100%=240

and we don't know the percentage of 216 so let's use X so

100%=240

x=216

so 216 over 240 times 100 % and you'll get 90%
