So the ratios are 4 to 5 to 5 to 8 to 9 to 9
that means that the first 2 sides can be simplified to 4 to 5
therefor the whle sum is all the units added up
4+5+5+8+9+9=40

720=40 units
divide by 40
18=1 unit
solve for each unit
we have
4 units
5 units
8 units
9 units

4 times 18=72
5 times 18=90
8 times 18=144
9 times 18=152

the angles are
72,90,90,144,152,152

Rewrite the quadratic function in vertex form.<br> Y=2x^2+4x-1
Fantom [35]

Answer:

\large\boxed{y=2(x+1)^2-3}

Step-by-step explanation:

The vertex form of an equation of a parabola:

y=a(x-h)^2+k

(h, k) - vertex

We have

y=2x^2+4x-1=2\left(x^2+2x-\dfrac{1}{2}\right)

We must use the formula: (a+b)^2=a^2+2ab+b^2\qquad(*)

2\left(x^2+2(x)(1)-\dfrac{1}{2}\right)=2\bigg(\underbrace{x^2+2(x)(1)+1^2}_{(*)}-1^2-\dfrac{1}{2}\bigg)\\\\=2\left((x+1)^2-1-\dfrac{1}{2}\right)=2\left((x+1)^2-\dfrac{3}{2}\right)

Use the distributive formula a(b + c) = ab + ac

2(x+1)^2+2\left(-\dfrac{3}{2}\right)=2(x+1)^2-3

find point p that divides segment AB into a 2:3 ratio. The point should be closer to A. A(-3,1) and B(3,5)
Mademuasel [1]
First, work out how much you need to add to A's x and y coordinates in order to get to point B from point A.

So (using Ax to mean x-coordinate of A, Ay the y-coordinate of A, etc):
x-difference = Bx - Ax = 3 - (-3) = 3 + 3 = 6
y-difference = By - Ay = 5 - 1 = 4

Now, if the point divides the segment AB in the ratio 2:3, then it is 2/(2+3) of the way along the line AB.

i.e. it is 2/5 of the way along the line AB.

We therefore need to add 2/5 of the x- and y-differences to point A to get point p:
px = Ax + (2/5)*(x-difference) = -3 + (2/5)*6 = -3 + 12/5 = -15/5 + 12/5 = -3/5 = -0.6
py = Ay + (2/5)*(y-difference) = 1 + (2/5)*4 = 1 + 8/5 = 5/5 + 8/5 = 13/5 = 2.6

Therefore coordinates of p are (-0.6, 2.6)

68/80 as a fraction,percent,and decimal
madam [21]
68/80 is a fraction
34/40
17/20 is simplest form of fraction

percent means parts out of 100 so x/100
20 times 5=100 so
17/20 time 5/5=x/100=85/100 or 85%

decimal is normally a power of 10 so
85/100=0.85
