Answer: Greg

He jumped 6 inches farther than Fred

Step-by-step explanation: The easiest way to do this is if you convert everything to feet the best you can

After you do that we wind up with Fred having jumped 7 feet and Greg jumping 7 Feet and 6 inches so then you can see that Greg has those 6 inches on Fred making it so he jumped farther.

Write an equation in slope intercept form for the graph (-3,3) (3,-1)
Nookie1986 [14]

Answer:

y = (-3/2)x + 7/2

Step-by-step explanation:

Find the slope of this line first.

As you move from the first point to the second, x (the 'run') increases by 6 and y (the 'rise') decreases by 4 (from 3 to -1).  Thus the slope is

m = rise/run = -6/4 or -3/2.

Find b for this situation, using y = mx + b, m = -3/2, y = -1 and x = 3:

-1 = (-3/2)(3) + b.  Multiply all three terms by 2:

2(-1) = -9 + 2b, or 7 = 2b.  Then b = 7/2, and the desired equation is

y = (-3/2)x + 7/2

Write an equation in slope intercept form for the following graph.
Umnica [9.8K]
Y = -1/2x + 3
Why?
Looking at the line start where the line intercepts the y line, it goes down one over 2 and that’s your slope, the 3 is bc that’s where the line crosses the y line

(-i)+6-(3-7i)<br>Can you also explain it to me?
slamgirl [31]
The answer would be 3 + 6i.

1. simplify brackets (-i + 6 - 3 + 7i )

2. gather like terms ( 6 - 3 ) + ( -i + 7i )

3. simplify

So in conclusion your answer would be 3 + 6i.
