Answer:

f(a+2) equals:

\dfrac{3a^2+12a+17}{a+2}

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given

f(x)=3x+\dfrac{5}{x}

We have to find the value of f(a+2)

substituting a+2 in place of x in f(x), we get

f(a+2)=3(a+2)+\dfrac{5}{a+2} \\\\f(a+2)=\dfrac{3(a+2)^2+5}{a+2} \\\\f(a+2)=\dfrac{3(a^2+4+4a)+5}{a+2} \\\\f(a+2)=\dfrac{3a^2+12+12a+5}{a+2} \\\\f(a+2)=\dfrac{3a^2+12a+17}{a+2}

Hence, f(a+2) equals:

\dfrac{3a^2+12a+17}{a+2}

F(X) = (3x + 5)/X
F(a + 2) = (3(a + 2) + 5)/(a + 2)
F(a + 2) = (3a + 6 + 5)/(a+2)
F(a + 2) = (3a + 11)/(a + 2).

This would be the final solution.

Answer:

1) gradient  (00) (-2 4) = y2-y1 / 2-1 = 4/-2 = -2  m = -2/1  means = m = -2  (negative slope)   2)  gradient  y2-y1 / x2-x1 = 3-0 / 2-0  = 3/2 = (1 1/2)/1   m = 1 1/2  (positive slope) we use the formula y-values divided by the change in the x-values.    The equation of the gradient each goes like this 1) y = -2x   as y is at origin nothing else to add     The equation of the gradient each goes like this 2) y = 1  1/2x     The equation of the point formula  1) we take the y -y1 = m (x +x 1)  =  y-0 = -2x (x +0)  (as m = -2) y = -2(x +0)   and  The equation of the point formula  2)  y - 0 = m ( x +x1)     y - 0 = 1 1/2( x +0)  = y = 1 1/2( x +0)

Slater’s room is 5 meter long and 3 1/4 meters wide. What is the area of slader’s room?
muminat
I am guessing it is a rectangular room...
so a 5 x 3 1/4 meter room

The area of a rectangle is length * width
A = l * w
plug in the known
A = 5 * 3 1/4
A = 16.25, or 16 1/4

The area of Slater's?, or Slader's?, room is 16.25 meters^2

Hope this helps

Write the equality in the given diagram below
evablogger [386]

Answer:

The inequality for this diagram is x≥-1

Please the explanation... it always helpsssss....

Step-by-step explanation:

The first step is to look at the circle... is it filled in or not... in this case it is...

meaning the symbol is greater than or equal to  OR less than or equal to

next the arrow is pointing to the right meaning the symbol must be greater than or equal to

then look at the value at the filled in circle (which in this case is -1)

meaning the inequality must be x≥-1

i really hope this helps!!!!
