5. How were North Vietnamese troops infiltrating South Vietnam?

History

NikAS [45]3 years ago

South Vietnamese officials claim that two companies from the North Vietnamese army have invaded South Vietnam. A battle resulted in Quang Tri Province, just south of the Demilitarized Zone, but the North Vietnamese forces were defeated with heavy casualties. Since North Vietnamese main force units had not been seen in South Vietnam before, U.S. military advisers questioned whether these were actually North Vietnamese troops, but in fact Hanoi had ordered its forces to begin infiltrating to the South. This marked a major change in the tempo and scope of the war in South Vietnam and resulted in President Lyndon Johnson committing U.S. combat troops. North Vietnamese forces and U.S. troops clashed for the first time in November 1965, when units from the newly arrived 1st Cavalry Division engaged several North Vietnamese regiments in the Battle of the Ia Drang Valley in the Central Highlands.

What was James Madison's domestic policy
ELEN [110]

Answer:

hope you like it

Explanation:

The power to change economic policies rested with the states and the Bank of the United States. In addition, Monroe believed that depressions were natural features of a maturing economy and that the U.S. economy would soon rebound from the panic (and indeed it did—the depression ended by 1823).

Just prior to James Madison's assumption of office, Congress passed the Non-Intercourse Act of 1809, which replaced Jefferson's failed embargo. It allowed the resumption of world trade with the exclusion of trade with England and France, thus barring French and British vessels from American ports.

Winter quarters where the continental army nearly froze to death during the american revolution
pochemuha
The appropriate response is Valley Forge. It was not the best place to set up winter camp for the Continental Army, as it was not able to shield southern Pennsylvania at the time. This area additionally left the defenseless under-provided armed force in the striking separation of the British, who were very much provisioned and secured in Philadelphia.
