• Astrocyte Fibrosa, commonly found in the substance of alba. The difference with protoplasmic astrocytes can be seen from the cytoplasmic protrusion that is longer and straighter. Inside the bulge can also be found a picture of the filament.

Ependymal Cell

Ependymal cells line the interior of the fluid-filled cavity in the CNS. Ependymal cells are cells that have cilia, the movement of these cilia play a role in flowing cerebrospinal fluid throughout the ventricles of the brain.
