Also all the men that they drafted they had to have money to suit them for battle. about 50-70 percent of the men did not have training. So yes we lost many men in that war.

During the Vietnam War, President Johnson's "Great Society" tanked. All the money that was supposed to go toward bettering society went into the war. The inflation rate rose and to stop it from rising higher, higher taxes had to put in place.
