A parasite by definition is a living organism that lives at the expense of another organism (the host). This could help to answer your question.
Parasites can have a sexual or asexual reproduction (or both of them). So we have two types of hosts:
Intermediate host: It helps parasites to grow in number and have an asexual reproduction.
Definitive host: It helps parasites to fertilize (having sexual reproduction).

Let's take the example of Plasmodium (responsible for malaria), the definitive host (the anophele) contributes to transmitting the parasite to the human. without it, the Plasmodium cannot be transmitted to humans (intermediate host) to reproduce. And without humans, it cannot reproduce too, because this is where the parasite takes its resources (from red blood cells).
So, we can see that hosts have a major role in parasites reproduction.

Which is a difference between bacteria and viruses that showed that bacteria are living organisms and viruses are not?
Zigmanuir [339]
The difference between bacteria and viruses that show bacteria are living and not viruses is that viruses, unlike bacteria, lack what is considered a living organism. For Example, viruses cannot reproduce without the help of a host, and don't use the normal way of cell-division for replication. Unlike bacteria, which can reproduce without the aid of a host.

So basically viruses don't have what it need to be a living organism, like reproducing without and host and aren't in the norm for cell-division for replication.

We have looked at the cloning experiments involved in producing Snuppy. Describe the specific technique that was used and how th
Sergio039 [100]

Answer:

Cloning may be defined as the process by which the genetically identified individual of the organism can be created artifically or naturally. Aseual reproduction results in the formation of clone.

The microsatellite analysis is used to prove that snuppy is a clone. Microsatellites are the highly variable DNA sequences repeats that has variable loci and considered at population level. The two alleles are possible for the one microsatellite locus. After comparing the alleles it has been found that snuppy has exactly the same genetic material as the surrogate mother, afghan. This completely determines that snuppy is a clone of afgan.

Coelomates & Pseudocoelomates

Explanation:

 • Coelomates: Animals that have a body that incorporates voids are known as coelomates, they have a total body structure, and their bodies are ensured by coelom which goes about as a body skeleton and spares all the interior organs from outer pressure. The coelom is shaped at the stage known as gastrula, after various procedures which incorporate different capacities the mesoderm is isolated into two sections and coelom begins existing between them. The primary layer is near the body itself called endoderm while the other layer is at the external side known as ectoderm.
 • Pseudocoelomates: Animals that don't have an appropriate body hole are known as pseudocoelomates. This is a direct result of the explanation that they have pseudo coelom which is available between the ectoderm and endoderm and lies outside the mesoderm. They are likewise dissipated and present at more than one spots, thusly, have a structure which doesn't appear to be like different species. In spite of the fact that it is a body cavity and capacities appropriately but since of their temperament, the liquid isn't line appropriately however fills the assemblage of creatures, in light of this the organs are put near one another in a dispersed way and thusly doesn't permit the body to shape a legitimate skeleton.
