Two buildings have the same total height. One building

Mathematics

Answer:

12 feet

Step-by-step explanation:

Two buildings have the same total number of heights

The first building has 6 floors each with height h

The second building has a ground floor of 36 feet and 3 other floors each

Since both buildings have the same height then

Height of first building= height of second building

The first step is to calculate the height of the first building

Height of first building = 6h

The height of the second building is

36 + 3h

Therefore the height of each floors can be calculated as follows

6h= 36 + 3h

Collect the like terms

6h-3h = 36

3h= 36

h= 36/3

h= 12

Hence the height of each floors is 12 feet

Which interval on the graph indicates she is stuck in a traffic jam? A B C D
masha68 [24]
Let's look at each one of the intervals.

Interval A
Interval A looks like she's going at a pretty steady pace, so Interval A is not the correct answer.

Interval B
Interval B looks like she stays at 2.5 for an hour. That looks like a traffic jam to me!

The correct answer is Interval B.

Hope this helps! If it does, be sure to rate, thank and if it really helped, give brainliest. It helps me rank up. Thanks! :)

The owners of an industrial plant want to determine which of two types of fuel (gas or electricity) will produce more useful ene
madreJ [45]

Answer:

d. H0: (\mu_e - \mu_g) = 0 vs. Ha: (\mu_e - \mu_g) \neq 0

Step-by-step explanation:

A hypothesis is defined as "a speculation or theory based on insufficient evidence that lends itself to further testing and experimentation. With further testing, a hypothesis can usually be proven true or false".

The null hypothesis is defined as "a hypothesis that says there is no statistical significance between the two variables in the hypothesis. It is the hypothesis that the researcher is trying to disprove".

The alternative hypothesis is "just the inverse, or opposite, of the null hypothesis. It is the hypothesis that researcher is trying to prove".

On this case the Management try to determine if there is a difference in the average investment/quad between using electricity and using gas. So this needs to be on the alternative hypothesis. And the complement of the alternative hypothesis would be on the null hypothesis.

Null hypothesis :\mu_e = \mu_g

Alternative hypothesis: \mu_e \neq \mu_g

Or equivalently:

Null hypothesis :\mu_e - \mu_g = 0

Alternative hypothesis: \mu_e - \mu_g \neq 0

Other important thing is that on the alternative hypothesis we never can have the symbol equal.

So on this case the best options is:

d. H0: (\mu_e - \mu_g) = 0 vs. Ha: (\mu_e - \mu_g) \neq 0

Round 8.87689068442 to 2 decimal places.
Marizza181 [45]

Answer:

The answer is 8.88; You look at the number that comes after the second number (the second place after the decimal) and if that number is 5 or above then you round the second number up. (Sorry if it doesn't make sense, but that's the best I can explain it).
