We're literally just comparing 200 to 800 here.
800 is 4× bigger than 200, of course.
To put that in a percent...
Well, 1 = 100%. (it's a whole)
So 4 = 400%

Answer:  The correct option is (D). 400%.

Step-by-step explanation: Given that the volume for a 3-D polyhedral A is 200 cm³ and the volume for a 3-D polyhedral B is 800 cm³.

We are to find how much bigger is the volume of pyramid B than pyramid A.

The required percentage by which the volume of pyramid B is bigger than pyramid A is given by

P=\dfrac{\textup{volume of pyramid B}}{\textup{volume of pyramid A}}\times 100\%\\\\\\\Rightarrow P=\dfrac{800}{200}\times 100\%=4\times 100\%=400\%.

Thus, the correct option is (D).

What is the surface area of this prism?
kap26 [50]

Answer:

736 cm2

Step-by-step explanation:

A= bxh/2

A=12x8/2

A=96/2

A=48x2=96 cm2

A=LxW

A=20x12

A=240 cm2

A=LxW

A=20x10

A=200x2=400 cm2

SA=96+240+400

SA=736 cm2

Calculate the value of b.<br>(b-15)<br>3b°<br>(2b + 45°<br>Diagram not drawn accurately
e-lub [12.9K]

Answer:

b = 30

Step-by-step explanation:

The sum of the 2 angles above the line will equal the angle below the line

3b + b - 15 = 2b + 45

4b - 15 = 2b + 45 ( subtract 2b from both sides )

2b - 15 = 45 ( add 15 to both sides )

2b = 60 ( divide both sides by 2 )

b = 30

Parallel and Perpendicular Lines
Elena L [17]

Answer:

neither; perpendicular; parallel; neither; neither

Step-by-step explanation:

parallel line is where the 2 slopes have same gradient and perpendicular means the two lines have a -1 slope when producted

Topic: coordinate geometry

Eighteen 2.5 gallon buckets are needed to fill a cistern with water. Find the constant of variation. Please help! Thank you!
Allushta [10]

Given:

Eighteen 2.5 gallon buckets are needed to fill a cistern with water.

To find:

The constant of variation.

Solution:

If y is directly proportional to x, then

y\propto x

y=kx

Where, k is constant of variation.

In the given problem, water in cistern (w) is directly proportional to number of buckets (n).

w\propto n

w=2.5n        (Capacity of each bucket is 2.5 gallons)

Therefore, the constant of variation is 2.5.
