What is the role of a fungus’s fruiting body?

Biology

The answer is a production of spores which are used for reproduction.

In fungi, the fruiting body contains spores, which are the fungi's reproduction units. Spores are released by wind, rain, or animals. Once they land on an adequate surface they grow into hyphae, and eventually form a mycelium. The mycelium can later develop into the fruiting body and, thus, the cycle is repeated.

How do currents, waves and tides influence the adaptations of intertidal zone organisms?
NikAS [45]

Answer: Estuaries are often protected from severe ocean conditions but depend on the currents created by tributary streams, long shore currents, and tidal fluctuations to cycle nutrients and provide a transportation mechanism for organisms such as shellfish, eels, and turtles during some stages of their life cycles. brainliest?

What would you expect to happen to a plant as temperature and precipatiom increases? Write your claim and evidence!!
Anon25 [30]

Answer:

Both have great effect on plant when increases from a certain limit.

Explanation:

When the temperature falls in the optimum range it has a good effect on plants growth because the rate of photosynthesis is maximum. Precipitation also has a great effect because it provides water that is necessary for the plants. If the temperature increases from a certain limit, it burns plant body and decreases photosynthesis whereas if precipitation increases it causes flood condition which kills the plant due to removal from the soil.

In what ways do prevailing winds affect precipitation in a region
BartSMP [9]

Answer:

Prevailing winds influence the precipitation by regulating amount of water vapor in air, direction of wind movement and by making cold and hot air masses to move.

Explanation:

Winds make both hot and cold air masses to move. The hot air rises up with wind and cold air rushes to take its place. The hot air coming from water bodies towards the land carry ample of water vapor and causes precipitation in the region. On the other hand, the air coming from land masses does not have enough water vapor to cause any rains in the region.
