Answer:

The opportunity cost for Ricardo is the is the time that he won't be able to spend with his friends.

Explanation:

The opportunity cost is defined as the value of the next best option that was not taken. in this case, when Ricardo prefers to have the promotion, it implies that he will spend more time working, sacrificing his free time with friends. when he decided to spend that time with his new role as a supervisor, he cannot spend that time doing another activity.

Another example could be when someone decides to spend money on a new tv instead of a language course, in this case, the opportunity cost is the knowledge that you could have gained in the course. the most important concept is that it is possible just to use resources in one option, sacrificing other opportunity.

Mademuasel [1]

Answer:

$50,325 is the sale price of the property

Explanation:

Karen made a commission of $3522.75 on the sale of a property. Splitter commission clear with her broker which is 50% to the broker and 50% Karen. Broker took 55% of the total commission on a 7% commission rate.

So not considering the commission for a while if we divide commission by the commission rate we will get the sale price.

                                    $3522.75/0.07= $50,325.

Once the traditional IRA or Roth IRA is established, you decide to invest the proceeds in a mutual fund. Identify the type of mu
IrinaK [193]
The type of mutual fund to select depends on the person's goals and attitude towards risks. Generally, mutual funds are a pool of paper assets of different people that is managed by fund managers as they buy stocks from investments in the market.

There can be three types of source of mutual fund: stocks, bonds and balanced fund. Stocks are shares of big companies, say for example, Proctor & Gamble. They sell their shares to the market that is open to all potential investors. When a fund manager buys shares, he becomes a co-owner of the company. Thus, if the profit of the company increases, you are also given with additional dividends. However, the risk is high because if the company goes bankrupt, you lose your money. Bonds are owned by government agencies that are open to the public to borrow their money to be used on projects for the country. This is low risk because the government promises to return the amount of money borrowed plus a fixed interest. Balanced fund is the median of both because fund managers source their mutual funds both on stocks and bonds.

So, if you are aggressive, then stocks are fit for you. If you are conservative, better stick with bonds because there is a guarantee. If you are a mix of both, balanced fund is your option.

Total pay before deductions is known as
Gemiola [76]
I believe the answer is: Gross pay

When employees receive their monthly salaries, the amount that they receive is already deducted by the federal government as tax payment or by company's healthcare and pension plan.
The gross pay is the amount of money that the employees would receive if they do not have to pay for any of that stuff.

on june 19, a u.s. company sold and delivered merchandise on a 30-day account to a german corporation for 190,000 euros. on july
Lesechka [4]

On June 19 the accounts receivable should be recorded at the spot rate: $228,190 ($190,000 Euros * $1.201), which is the rate at which the Euro and the US Dollar were being exchanged at the time.

Many US-based enterprises sell goods to companies abroad. Depending on the discussions and the circumstances surrounding the sale, these sales may be made in US dollars or in another currency. If the sale is made in a foreign currency, the US-based company will be responsible for any fluctuations in the exchange rate from the time the sale and receivable are recorded until the time the foreign currency is paid for the related foreign currency-related receivable.

The accounts receivable should be recorded (converted from Euros to US Dollars) at the spot rate on June 19: 190,000 Euros * $1.201, which is the exchange rate at that time between the Euro and the US Dollar, equals $228,190.
