Which of four factors that affect evolution apply to the finches that the Grants studied?
harkovskaia [24]

Answer:

The Grants have focused their research on the medium ground finch, Geospiza fortis, on the small island of Daphne Major. Daphne Major serves as an ideal site for research because the finches have few predators or competitors. (The only other finch on the island is the cactus finch.) The major factor influencing survival of the medium ground finch is the weather, and thus the availability of food. The medium ground finch has a stubby beak and eats mostly seeds. Medium ground finches are variable in size and shape, which makes them a good subject for a study of evolution.

guajiro [1.7K]
Positive Rh factor represents the presence of the rhesus protein on the blood cells. Rh factor or Rhesus factor is used to describe the presence of antigen Rh (D) in the blood. A person who is, for example, AB Positive (AB+) has the A and B antigens and the Rh(D) antigen, whereas someone who is AB Negative (ab-) lacks the Rh(D) antigen. Antibodies to Rh antigens can be involved in hemolytic transfusion reactions and they increase the risk of Hemolytic disease of the fetus and newborn, so it is important for mother and the baby to have the same Rh factor.

Name and describe the role of each of the chambers in the rats heart. name the major artery and major vein connected to the hear
Nat2105 [25]
Easy:

The four chambers of the heart are the right and left atria, and the right and left ventricles. The main veins connected the heart are the superior and inferior vena cava, the main artery is the Aorta.

The first chamber, (the right atruim) recieves deoxygenated blood and forces it into the right ventricles which forces the blood into the lungs for oxygenation. Then the blood reenters the heart in the left atrium, which forces the blood into the left ventricle and then out the Aorta to the rest of the body.

sorry, but this question needed kind of a long answer to be answered correctly.
