 The thermosphere has less air pressure as compared to the mesosphere as the thermosphere layer are above the mesosphere surface and the standard pressure of the air is 100 kilo pascal.

The UV radiations and the X rays are absorbed by the thermosphere so that is why the temperature increases and there is decrease in the air pressure.
