Molecules in all thing move weather it be a solid or a liquid. the molecules in a liquid are far apart and move slow. the molecules in a solid are tightly packed and continuously vibrate. you can put your hand through water but you cannot put your hand through a steel beam.

Yes, the molecules do move. Although you can't tell, they are always moving. This is because the molecules have little energy. When they have little energy, they move slower. I hope this helps! :)

It is related to thyroid dysfunction because one main cause of exophthalmos is the thyroid eye disease. It is a condition were the tissues inside the eyeballs would swell due to too much thyroid activity. Exophthalmos is known as proptosis and is a term used for bulging eyeballs. This condition is an autoimmune type and one in every three people would have this condition. It is common for women in their 30s to 50s and for people who smoke. Other causes of this condition are bleeding at the back of the eyes, abnormal shape of the blood vessels and infection of the tissues in the eyes.<span />
