First you must know that is i∧2= -1

x∧3-4x∧2+4x-16 = x∧2 (x-4) + 4 (x-4) = (x-4) (x∧2+4) = (x-4) (x∧2-(-4)) =

= (x-4) (x∧2-(-1) *4) = (x-4) (x∧2- i∧2*2∧2) = (x-4) (x∧2-(2i)∧2) = (x-4) (x-2i) (x+2i)

Good luck!!!

Answer:

x =  8 hours

Step-by-step explanation:

add up all the parts,

the teachers spends 24 hours in a day to do 18 parts

there are 2 parts for grading per day, we need to solve for 3 days so 3*(parts) or 6 parts for grading

use ratio to solve for x,

24 hrs          x (hours)

______  =  __________

18 parts            3*(2 parts)

solve for x = (24 * 6 )/ 18 = 8 hours

Write the coordinates of the vertices after a reflection over the line y=3
SOVA2 [1]

Answer:

T'(-1, 4), U'(8, 4) and V'(-1, 10)

Step-by-step explanation:

If we reflect the vertices of the given triangle VTU across a line y = 3,

Rule to followed for the image points,

Line of reflection will work as a mirror.

And distance of image points and original points will be same from the line of reflection.

Therefore, Coordinates of the vertices of the image triangle will be,

T'(-1, 4), U'(8, 4) and V'(-1, 10)

Explain how to use the missing pieces strategy to compare two fractions.include a diagram with your expiation
Effectus [21]

The missing pieces strategy is another method to compare two fractions. To tell which number is larger, you ned to see which one is missing less. For example you have ¾ versus 4/5. Each of these fraction needs 1 to complete the whole. You need to subtract the numerator with one to compare them. For ¾ we have ¼ and for 4/5 we have 1/5. You know that if you complete 4/5 you will get 5 and for ¾ you will get 4. You know that 5 is greater than four. Therefore, 4/5 is larger than ¾.

(-4, 1) ⇒ ( -4 + 3, 1 + 2) ⇒ (-1, 3)

(-1, 1) ⇒ (-1 + 3, 1 + 2) ⇒ (2, 3)
