3/8 is less than half because 1/2 = 4/8. so suzy ate less than half.

3/5 is greater than half because 1/2 = 3/6. Ethan ate more than a half.

since 3/6 equals 1/2, tenaya ate more than a half.

obviously 1/3 is less than a half because 1/2 is equal to half.

So, suzy and sam ate less than a half while the others ate more than a half.
