The Answer to question number two is the sun

1. Nitrogen fixation is an essential process as the plants do not possess the tendency to use nitrogen in the form of N2. The bacteria known as nitrogen-fixing bacteria convert atmospheric nitrogen in the soil to ammonia, which can then be taken up by the plants.

2. The process of the water cycle is mainly driven by the energy provided by the Sun. This solar energy mediates the cycle by evaporating water from the lakes, oceans, rivers, and even the soil. Other water moves from plants to the atmosphere via the procedure of transpiration.

How would a object blocking a bronchus affect this air flow
Blababa [14]

Because the lung has two bronchi, it can still function if one bronchus is blocked by a foreign object. No gas exchange will happen to the affected side, and the other lung will compensate for the loss of air. The blocked portion though can become inflamed and can lead to infection and damage.

Which of the following is NOT one of the three major types of stimuli to trigger endocrine glands to manufacture and release the
almond37 [142]

Answer:

option C. permissive stimuli

Explanation:

The three major kinds of stimulus that triggers the endocrine glands to synthesize and release hormones are humoral stimuli, hormonal stimuli and neural stimuli. The humoral stimulus regulates the release of hormones with the changes in the concentration of extracellular fluids. For example, the increase of glucose concentration in blood causes pancreas to release hormone insulin.

The hormonal stimuli allows secretion of hormone only with the secretion of any other hormone. The hypothalamus gland secretions allows the anterior pituitary gland to secrete hormones. The release of thyroid hormone is an example of hormonal stimuli.

The neural stimuli allows the production of hormones directly from the glands. The production of epinephrine and norepinephrine hormones are the example of neural stimuli. Thus, option C is correct.
