Islam is the religion formulated by Muhammad and has spread from Arabia since the seventh century in which his holy book is called the Koran.

In art, we perceive important dynasties, powerful and directly linked to the religious element.

The works of Islamic painting are represented by frescoes and miniatures. They were generally used to decorate walls of palaces or public buildings and represented hunting grounds and everyday court life. His style was similar to that of the Hellenic painting, although, according to the place, it suffered a great influence Indian, Byzantine, and Chinese industry

In sacred architecture he did not maintain the simplicity and rusticity of the materials of the prophet's house, for example, the works of the first caliphs: Basra and Kufa in Iraq, the Rock Dome in Jerusalem and the Great Mosque of Damascus. However, there was a persistent concern with the preservation of certain geometric forms, such as the square and the cube. The pendant dome, which allows one to cover the square with a circle, was one of the most used systems in building mosques, although there was no common model. The numerous local variations kept the distribution of the environments, but they did not always keep their shape.

To deliver and to govern in Israel was the special task of the _____.
beks73 [17]
Shophetim
(Heb. shophet, pl. shophetim), properly a magistrate or ruler, rather than one who judges in the sense of trying a cause. This is the name given to those rulers who presided over the affairs of the Israelites during the interval between the death of Joshua and the accession of Saul ( Judges 2:18 ), a period of general anarchy and confusion. "The office of judges or regents was held during life, but it was not hereditary, neither could they appoint their successors. Their authority was limited by the law alone, and in doubtful cases they were directed to consult the divine King through the priest by Urim and Thummim ( Numbers 27:21 ). Their authority extended only over those tribes by whom they had been elected or acknowledged. There was no income attached to their office, and they bore no external marks of dignity. The only cases of direct divine appointment are those of Gideon and Samson, and the latter stood in the peculiar position of having been from before his birth ordained 'to begin to deliver Israel.' Deborah was called to deliver Israel, but was already a judge. Samuel was called by the Lord to be a prophet but not a judge, which ensued from the high gifts the people recognized as dwelling in him; and as to Eli, the office of judge seems to have devolved naturally or rather ex officio upon him." Of five of the judges, Tola ( Judges 10:1 ), Jair (3), Ibzan, Elon, and Abdon ( 12:8-15 ), we have no record at all beyond the bare fact that they were judges. Sacred history is not the history of individuals but of the kingdom of God in its onward progress.

What family dynasty tried to hold the German Confederation together?
aksik [14]

German Confederation, organization of 39 German states, established by the Congress of Vienna in 1815 to replace the destroyed Holy Roman Empire. It was a loose political association, formed for mutual defense, with no central executive or judiciary. Delegates met in a federal assembly dominated by Austria. Amid a growing call for reform and economic integration, conservative leaders, including Klemens, prince von Metternich, persuaded the confederation’s princes to pass the repressive Carlsbad Decrees (1819), and in the 1830s Metternich led the federal assembly in passing additional measures to crush liberalism and nationalism. The formation of the Zollverein (a German customs union) in 1834 and the Revolutions of 1848 undermined the confederation. It was dissolved with Prussia’s defeat of Austria in the Seven Weeks’ War (1866) and the establishment of the Prussian-dominated North German Confederation.
