First I would get her an ice pack to help with the swelling then I would amobilize it so she couldn’t move it and hurt herself anymore. Now I would take her to the hospital or call an ambulance. Hope that helps and ask questions if you still need help. ;)

Ankle sprain is nothing more than a traumatic excessive inversion of the foot, that is, when the foot for some reason turns sharply, causing a stretch or partial / total rupture of ligaments in the ankle. This is what happened to the person shown in the question above.

Let's say a friend of mine suffered a sprain and I have a first aid kit. First I would ask my friend to raise his leg for a moment to lessen the swelling in the region, then apply a cold thermal bag, or apply ice. After that it would help my friend to lift without putting weight on his injured ankle, I would also look for a way to immobilize the injured part. Then I would call the emergency if the sprain had been severe so that the professionals would take care of it.
