<span>The Supreme Court
helped wear down the freedom of African-Americans after the civil war because
it didn't announce many of the laws that were intended to harass
African-Americans as unlawful. It even supported separation when it confirmed
that the doctrine of separate but equal was a constitutional right.</span>
Who people are and how authority is shared among them are core issues for democratic theory, development and constitution. Some cornerstones of these issues are freedom of assembly and speech, inclusiveness and equality, membership, consent, voting, right to life and minority rights.
Maybe the one at the bottom
President Theodore Roosevelt oversaw the realization of a long-term United States goal—a trans-isthmian canal. Throughout the 1800's, American and British leaders and businessmen wanted to ship goods quickly and cheaply between the Atlantic and Pacific coasts.
