The cardiovascular system pushes blood through the lungs where the respiratory system replenishes the oxygen and removes waste carbon dioxide. Both are needed to deliver blood with life giving oxygen to our tissues. The lymphatic system handles excess fluid from organs and transports the fluid back into the circulatory system, so both lymph and circulatory systems work together to balance fluid levels and keep our organs functioning.

A ferret gamete will have:
Fittoniya [83]

Answer:

O 20 unreplicated chromosomes

Explanation:

Ferrets have a diploid genome of 40 (meaning 20 pairs of homologous chromosomes in a diploid cell). A gamete is haploid, meaning in the case of the ferret it will have 20 chromosomes.

Chromosomes present in a gamete are not present with their sister chromatid pair (they are separated in meiosis II). And they are haploid, so not with their homologous partner. This means there are 20 unreplicated chromosomes in the ferret gametes.

Bone resorption inhibitors treat rheumatoid arthritis. decrease inflammation of bones. strengthen bone affected by osteoporosis.
Anton [14]

Bone resorption inhibitors prevent the breakdown of bone tissues and are therefore used to strengthen bone affected by osteoporosis.

What is osteoporosis?

It is a condition in which the bones have become weak and turned brittle. The term osteoporosis means 'porous bones. Osteoporosis weakens the bones and thus increases the risk of bone fractures which are sudden and unexpected.

This disease causes a decrease in bone density. It usually starts without any symptoms and doesn't cause any pain and is only diagnosed when a fracture has been caused in a weak bone.

Bone resorption is a natural process of breakdown of bone tissue to supply calcium to the body and this process is usually carried out with bone formation.

During osteoporosis, medications suppressing bone resorption are prescribed to inhibit or slow down the process of breakdown of bones

How are food webs different to food chains? explain why food webs are more useful
miss Akunina [59]

The difference between Food Chain and Food Web is that in ecology, a food chain depicts the continuous flow of essential micronutrients from one level of the hierarchy to the next. A food web is a collection of food chains that are linked at various trophic levels. Food web is an important conceptual tool for illustrating the feeding relationships among species within a community, revealing species interactions and community structure, and understanding the dynamics of energy transfer in an ecosystem.
