Some techniques the framers used to ensure that the constitution would be relevant for hundreds of years were the following:

 1. They established a Constitution with general laws and principles that not only addressed the specific challenges that the young nation was facing at the moment (like unusual and cruel punishment), but also those to come. Some of those principles the Constitution is based upon are federalism (reflected in the fact that federal law takes precedence over state law), the Separation of Power and the protection of individual liberties.
 2. They granted the Judicial Branch the authority to evaluate and interpret those generals statutes from the Constitution in order to adapt it to an ever-changing society. The controversial 2nd Amendment, for example, has been interpreted as one that protects people's right to have firearms for self-denfese in the home, while prohibiting "the possession of firearms by felons and the mentally ill" and "the carrying of dangerous and unusual weapons."
 3. They outlined the procedure in which the Constitution can be changed or amended so that Americans can eliminate or add statutes that are relevant to their time.

What is the main inference that can be drawn from Adam Smith’s book The Wealth of Nations?
Maurinko [17]

A free-market economy works well only without the government’s interference.

Adam Smith's theories are the basis for free-market capitalism and is the model of early capitalistic systems.

The Wealth of Nations lays out the economic theory of capitalism based on a free-market. As Adam Smith describes a free-market, the government should not interfere or regulate trade for the best results. When the government keeps their hands off the economy, large amounts of wealth can be earned and new businesses can grow with private investment and competition. Gilded Age capitalism is an example of free-market without government regulation. It produced unbridled wealth but also a large gap in social classes. Smith argues that is a necessary consequence to create motivation and competition.

What’s the answer guys ?
IgorC [24]

Answer:

D. Jules Ferry.

Explanation:

In the journal entry "Imperialism and Resistance Shape the Modern World", authors Saul Straussman and Bridgette Byrd delve into how Imperialism increased and was also beneficial for the European powers. It also reveals how such a process was successful, and how it has shaped the way the modern world is now.

Among the numerous personalities quoted in the article, Jules Ferry would be most likely supportive of the statement that Europeans are superior to other races. This can be judged from his statement :

Gentlemen, I must speak from a higher and more truthful plane. It must be stated openly that, in effect, superior races have rights over inferior races…. I repeat that superior races have a right because they have a duty. They have the duty to civilize inferior races…. (qtd. in Andrea and Overfield 296)

He emphasized and justifies the act of imperialism, implying that it was the Europeans' right and job to 'civilize' the other weaker and lesser races.

Thus, the correct answer is option D.
