The CIA was known in participating in the Cold war by carrying out secret operations in other countries.
CIA their mission was to correlate and collect intelligence abroad, coordination of foreign intelligence, provide directions and other duties that president directs them to.
CIA did a bad stuff of conducting converting operations. We can term CIA as an acronym of Central Intelligence Agency. It was very important to cold war because they helped so much in the prevention of communism that was their main goal.
